THE STAFF WAS LOVELY AND CATS AND KITTENS ARE IN A CALM ATMOSPHERE WITH ALL CARES THEY DESERVE. VERY NICE PLACE TO SPEND A WONDERFUL TIME!

Great city centre eatery. Food fantastic and a great price too. Brilliant staff, with a really good knowledge of their menu with great recommendations

As wetherspoon was full we decided to try this place. Prices similar to spoons so not out of the way. Lovely pub, atmosphere not to crowded, felt very relaxed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. Had the buttermilk baguette and chips, lush!

Great pit stop

Four of us recently visited the Loxley and decided on the 2 for £20 option. Having decided we would all like fish and chips for our mains, we went to the bar only to be told there was no fish and chips. we chose other items from the menu and again was told they weren&apos;t available. I then asked the bar staff what was available and was told burgers and sausage and mash which we reluctantly accepted. Three of us ordered chicken goujons for starters and we all upgraded our drinks to large glasses of wine. That should have added a further £6 to our order, making the total £46 but the staff member had already rung in over £50 before we pointed it out to him. When the meal arrived they brought out the mains before the starters and when we queried it , was told it was because the mains were ready first. A couple of minutes into our meal and the starters were brought out. They had all been dumped into one basket with just one portion of sauce. Needless to say, when we had finished our mains the goujons were cold and we ended up taking them home for the dog. No_one came to take away our plates or ask if I was ready for my dessert and after waiting a reasonable amount of time, we decided to give up and go home. Needless to say, we won&apos;t be making a repeat visit.

Great British pub in the lace market area of Nottingham city centre. Excellent for all live sports and a decent pint of Carling 🍺

Live sports and a good pint

Ordered as a group of 20 or so and got all of our drinks really quickly and the food we ordered between us came within 5 minutes or less- thank you Polly !! She also let us know about the pub quiz that was on and made sure we had everything we needed
